Inter Milan could be about to have a rather busy summer when it comes down to personnel.

It is no secret that the club are in a financial predicament at the moment, with owner Steven Zhang having already asked players and coaching staff to accept pay cuts, whilst also informing the club that key players may have to be sold to improve their position.

Of course, a lot of this led to Antonio Conte resign from I Nerazzurri after leading them to their first Serie A title in over a decade (11 years).

Indeed, Simone Inzaghi has since replaced him and whilst there are a number of rumours surrounding potential exits, there are a number of rumours already floating around that are suggesting the club could also make some additions.

Barcelona midfielder, Miralem Pjanic, is one player that has been mentioned as a potential transfer target, with the player seemingly available for a move this summer as the Spanish club go through their own financial problems.

The information about a potential transfer for the Bosnia & Herzegovina international has come via Sandro Sabatini, who is a journalist that was speaking to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset recently (via SempreInter).

Sabatini has revealed that the 31-year-old is strongly desiring a move back to Italy after leaving Juventus for FC Barcelona just last summer. One reason he is keen is down to the fact that he has hardly played for the famous club since making the switch.

A return to Serie A is thought to be the ideal opportunity for him to get his football career back on track, and whilst a Juventus return would be his preference, it is also believed that he is open to the idea of joining Inter Milan.

He has played for AS Roma in Serie A before, as well, so he has plenty of experience, with a total of 9 seasons under his belt in Italy’s top-flight.

Sabatini relayed the following information about Pjanic, via SempreInter: “wants to return to Italy at all costs and is willing to cut his salary for Juventus, but he is also open to Inter.”

Whether Inter make a move for him remains to be seen and one that those who use Big Free Bet can look to find great betting bonuses to use on whether a move happens or not, however it would also seem that the Nerazzurri also has an interest in Fiorentina goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski.

It is understood that the Poland international ‘keeper would be seen as a potential deputy for current number one, Samir Handanovic, but with a new coach set to come into Fiorentina after Gennaro Gattuso’s recent departure just a few weeks after joining, a transfer could be unlikely.

Sabatini said of the situation: “Inter had identified Dragowski as a possible deputy for Handanovic, because [former Fiorentina manager Gennaro] Gattuso did not prefer him, wanted to bring in [Napoli goalkeeper David] Ospina. With a new coach, on the other hand, Dragowski will definitely stay in Florence.”
